- Rice flour - 1 Cup
- Semolina - 1/4 Cup
- Potato -2
- Onion - 1
- Ginger- garlic paste - 1 Tsp
- Coriander leaves
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seeds -1/4 Tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 Tsp
- Split Bengal gram -1/4 Tsp
- Split black gram - 1/4 Tsp
- Turmeric powder
- Red chili powder
- Oil
- Salt
Procedure:
- Boil potatoes, chop onions.
- Mix rice flour, semolina in a bowl. Add 2.5 cups of water to prepare dosa dough. Keep aside to rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds to splutter.
- Add cumin seeds, split Bengal gram, split black gram.
- Add curry leaves, onion and saute it. Add ginger garlic paste.
- Add turmeric and red chili powder.
- Now add mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Add salt as per taste and cover the lid for 2 minutes.
- The stuffing is ready.
- Heat cast iron pan or Ghavan tava.
- Pour the dough in round shape.
- Cover the lid for a minute.
- Spread a layer of stuffing and fold it.
- Cut it and serve as it is or with coconut chutney.
