- Carrots(Grated) - 1 Cup
- Split green gram(Mung dal ) - 1 Tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Sugar - 1 Tsp
- Salt - 1/2 Tsp
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Lemon Juice - 1 Tsp
- Dry red chili - 1
- Ghee - 1 Tsp
- Cilantro (Finely chopped)
Procedure :
- Wash mung dal and soak for 3-4 hours.
- Drain it and mix with grated carrots and cilantro.
- Heat ghee in a small pan.
- Add cumin seeds to splutter.
- Add red chili and asafoetida to ghee.
- Mix this seasoning with carrot mixture.
- Add salt, sugar and lemon juice, Mix well.
