- Mirchi (Green chili)- 5-6
- Bengal gram floor (Besan) -1 Cup
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Carom seeds - 1 Tsp
- Baking soda - 1 Pinch
- Lemon juice - 1 Tsp
- Oil
- Salt
Procedure :
- For Mirchi Bhajiya you require special type of green chilies. You can find it in Indian grocery store.
- Give one cut to remove seeds from the chili.
- Boil water, add lemon juice and chilies. This will reduce hotness of chili.
- After 4-5 min remove chilies, wipe using paper napkin.
- In a bowl mix besan, turmeric, asafoetida, carom seeds,baking powder and salt.
- Prepare thick batter.
- Heat oil for frying.
- Deep green chili one by one and drop gently into oil.
- Deep fry and keep it on paper napkin.
- Serve hot.
