- Potato - 2
- Green peas - 1/2 Cup
- Green Chili - 2
- Garam masala - 1 Tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 Tsp
- Amchur Powder - 1 Tsp
- Coriander seeds powder - 1 Tbsp
- Red Chili powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- All purpose wheat flour (Maida) - 1 Cup
- Semolina - 1 Tbsp
- Oil
- Salt
- Take all purpose wheat flour, add salt and 1 Tsp oil, mix well.
- Add water and prepare dough.
- Keep aside for 20 min.
- Boil potato, cut into small pieces.
- Chop green chili finely.
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil.
- Add Cumin seeds to Splutter
- Add green peas and fry well.
- Add green chili, turmeric, coriander seeds powder and garam masala and mix well.
- Add potato and salt.
- Mix well and taste it.
- Add red chili powder if required.
- Keep aside for cooling.
- Make small rounds of dough.
- Roll to make a round.
- Cut the round in two parts as shown.
- Apply water to the edges.
- Make cone as shown.
- Hold it like ice cream cone.
- Fill potato stuffing.
- Press lightly by hands.
- Fold as shown.
- Press the edges firmly.
- Samosa is ready.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Deep fry samosas till color changes to golden brown.
- Serve hot with Tamarind chutney and Pudina chutney.
