Ingredients :
- Rice - 3 Cup
- Split black gram (urad dal) - 1 Cup
- Salt
Procedure :
- Soak rice and urad dal in warm water for 5-6 hours.
- Grind to prepare a smooth batter.
- Keep aside overnight.
- Add salt and some water to prepare a thin batter.
- In a small bowl take 1/2 cup water and 1/2 tbsp salt, mix well.
- Heat flat pan well.
- Sprinkle salty water.
- Pour some batter on it with a ladle and spread immediately to a thin circle as shown.
- Cook till the lower side become golden brown.
- Roll it & remove with the help of spatula.
- Serve hot with potato bhaji, coconut chutney and Rassam or sambar.(Recipes are given under label curry and chutney).
