Ragada Patis



Ingredients :

  • Green peas - 1 Cup
  • Onion - 1/4 Cup
  • Tomato - 1/4 Cup
  • Potato - 1
  • Garlic -1/2 Tbsp
  • Ginger -1/2 Tbsp
  • Cumin seed powder - 1/4 Tbsp
  • Coriander seed powder - 1/2 Tbsp
  • Chat masala - 1/2 Tbsp
  • Turmeric - 1 Pinch
  • Red Chili Powder - 1/2 Tbsp
  • Coriander leaves(Cilantro)
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure :

  1. Cook green peas and potato separately.
  2. Mash Potato and prepare round patis.
  3. Heat 1 spoon oil in a pan and fry the patis.
  4. Turn it and fry other side till it become golden brown.
  5. Dice tomato and onion.
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Add onion and fry till become golden brown.
  8. Add garlic and ginger paste.
  9. Add green pease and 1/2 cup water.
  10. Add Coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, chat masala and salt.
  11. Close the lid and cook well.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  13. Serve hot with patis.

Note :

  • You can add yogurt at the time of serving.

  1. hi it's a nice recipe. But didn't specify how to prepare patis.

  2. First three steps are of patis. It do not have any other ingredients except potato.
