Ingredients :
- Fenugreek leaves(Methi) - 1 Cup
- Bengal gram flour(Besan) - 2 Tbsp
- Carom seeds(Ajwain) - 1/2 Tsp
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Garlic paste -1/2 Tsp (optional)
- Red Chili Powder -1/4 Tsp
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Wheat flour
- Oil
- Salt
Procedure :- Prepare loose dough of wheat flour like Puranpoli.
- Wash fenugreek leaves and chop it finely.
- Heat 1 tsp oil and add carom seeds.
- When it start splutter, add asafoetida, red chili powder and turmeric.
- Add fenugreek leaves and salt.
- Mix well and cover with a lid.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add besan and mix well.
- Close the lid and cook for another 1 minute.
- Keep aside for cooling.
- Make small rounds as shown in picture.
- Fill like Puranpoli.
- Roll it and roast both the sides.
- Apply oil /butter/ghee after removing from pan.
- Serve hot with chutney/pickle/sauce.
