Dry Veg Manchurian

Ingredients :

  • Cabbage (grated) - 1 Cup
  • Carrot (grated) - 1/2 cup
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 Tsp
  • Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 Tbsp
  • Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 Tsp
  • Spring onion (finely chopped) - 1/4 Cup
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1/4 Cup
  • Soya sauce-
  • Sweet and Sour Sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • Chili sauce
  • Pepper powder
  • Corn flour
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure :

  1. Mix grated cabbage, carrot , 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tbsp garlic and soya sauce in a bowl and keep aside for 5 min.
  2. Add 4 tbsp cornflour in the bowl and mix well.
  3. Apply some oil to your palms and prepare small round pieces without adding water.
  4. Heat oil well in a deep frying pan.
  5. Deep fry these rounds till become golden brown.
  6. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
  7. Add remaining ginger & garlic, green chili fry for 1 min.
  8. Add spring onion, onion and fry.
  9. Add pepper powder, soya sauce, chili sauce, Sweet and Sour Sauce and very little salt.
  10. Add fried balls and mix well.
  11. Serve hot.

Note :

  • Soya sauce and chili sauce contents salt so taste before adding salt.
  • You can also add ajinomoto if you want.
