- Basmati Rice - 1/2 Cup
- Green peas - 1/2 Cup
- Onion (Diced) - 1/2 Cup
- Cumin seeds - 1 Tsp
- Black pepper - 2-3
- Clove - 2
- Cinnamon - 1 Inch
- Cardamom - 2ice
- Bay leave - 1
- Green Chili - 1
- Ginger Garlic Paste -1 Tsp
- Water - 1 Cup
- Salt
- Oil
- Ghee
Procedure :
- Wash rice, drain water and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add ghee.
- Add cumin seeds to splutter.
- Add Bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, green chili and black pepper.
- Add Onion and fry until it turns golden.
- Add ginger garlic paste.
- Add green peas and mix well.
- Add Rice, mix well.
- Add water and salt.
- Cover the lid and cook well.
- Serve hot with Raita.
