Mataki


Ingredients :


  • Sprouted Mataki - 1 Cup

  • Tomato Diced - 1/2 Cup

  • Onion Diced - 1/2 Cup

  • Ginger - ginger paste - 1 Tsp

  • Green chili - 2

  • Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp

  • Peanuts - 1 Tsp

  • Asafoetida - 1 Pinch

  • Turmeric - 1 Pinch

  • Curry leaves - 3-4

  • Coriander leaves

  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 Tsp

  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 Tsp

  • Jaggery - 1 Pinch

  • Salt

  • Oil

Procedure :



  1. Heat 1 Tsp Oil in a pan.

  2. Add Mustard seeds to splutter.

  3. Add cumin seeds and green chili.

  4. Add onion and fry until it turns golden.

  5. Add curry leaves, garlic-ginger paste, Peanuts, turmeric and asafoetida, fry well.

  6. Add tomato and fry till oil shows on the surface.

  7. Add Sprouted mataki and mix well.

  8. Add 3/4 Cup water, salt, coriander powder and jaggery.

  9. Cook well.

  10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

  11. Serve hot.

Note :



  • You can eat this with chapati or pav.

  • You can mix this with Puffed rice and Lemon juice.
