- Raw Mango seeds - 2
- Split red lentil (Tur dal) - 1/4 Cup
- Curry leaves - 4-5
- Rassam Powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Red chili powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 Tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 Tsp
- Fenugreek seeds - 6-7
- Oil
- Salt
- Jaggey - 1 Pinch
Procedure :
- After using raw mango for pickles, remaining seed we are using for dal.
- Cook tur dal by adding turmeric.
- Mash cooked tur dal.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds to splutter.
- Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves.
- Add mashed tur dal and water.
- Add rassam powder, jaggery and salt.
- Boil for 5 min.
- Serve hot.
