Palal curry - 2

Ingredients :

  • Spinach(Palak) - 1 Cup
  • Boiled Potato - 1 (medium size)
  • Gram flour (Besan) - 1 Tbsp
  • Garlic (Finely diced)- 1 Tbsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 Tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
  • Turmeric - 1 Pinch
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure :

  1. Chop spinach, add 1/2 cup water and cook in a pan for 7-8 minutes with closed lid.
  2. Add besan and mix well.
  3. Add 1/2 cup water.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Add mustard seeds to splutter.
  6. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and diced garlic.
  7. Fry well until garlic turns golden.
  8. Add boiled potato cubes.
  9. Fry well until it turns golden.
  10. Add turmeric and spinach mix.
  11. Add salt as per taste and cook for 2 min.
  12. Serve hot with chapati.
