- Spinach(Palak) - 1 Cup
- Boiled Potato - 1 (medium size)
- Gram flour (Besan) - 1 Tbsp
- Garlic (Finely diced)- 1 Tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 Tsp
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Salt
- Oil
Procedure :
- Chop spinach, add 1/2 cup water and cook in a pan for 7-8 minutes with closed lid.
- Add besan and mix well.
- Add 1/2 cup water.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds to splutter.
- Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and diced garlic.
- Fry well until garlic turns golden.
- Add boiled potato cubes.
- Fry well until it turns golden.
- Add turmeric and spinach mix.
- Add salt as per taste and cook for 2 min.
- Serve hot with chapati.
