Palak paneer

Ingredients :

  • Spinach (Palak) - Bunch
  • Tomato - 1
  • Onion - 1 (medium size)
  • Paneer - 1/2 Cup
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Coriander seeds powder - 1 Tsp
  • Green chili - 2
  • Butter - 2 Tbsp
  • Salt

Procedure :

  1. Cook spinach and tomato separately.
  2. Chop onion.
  3. Grind spinach with green chili, keep aside.
  4. Remove skin of tomato and grind to prepare tomato pulp.
  5. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan and fry paneer cubes till changes to golden.
  6. Heat butter in a pan.
  7. Fry onion till it changes to golden.
  8. Add ginger garlic paste and fry.
  9. Add cumin seeds powder, coriander seeds powder and tomato pulp.
  10. Fry well and add spinach paste and salt.
  11. Cover the lid and cook for 4-5 min.
  12. Put of flame and add paneer cubes.
  13. Mix well and cover lid for 1 min.
  14. Serve hot with chapati.
