Green Mustard Curry



Ingredients :


  • Green mustard - 1 Bunch

  • Split green gram - 1/4 cup

  • Green chili - 1-2

  • Garlic (Diced) - 1 Tsp

  • Turmeric - 1 Pinch

  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp

  • Asafoetida - 1 Pinch

  • Salt

  • Oil

Procedure :



  1. Wash and soak split green gram for 15-20 min.

  2. Wash and chop green mustard.

  3. Heat oil in a pan.

  4. Add mustard seeds to splutter.

  5. Add green chili and garlic, fry till it turns golden.

  6. Add asafoetida and turmeric.

  7. Add green mustard and fry well.

  8. Add split green gram and salt.

  9. Add little water.

  10. Close the lid and cook well.

  11. Serve hot with chapati.
