Ingredients :
- Green mustard - 1 Bunch
- Split green gram - 1/4 cup
- Green chili - 1-2
- Garlic (Diced) - 1 Tsp
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Salt
- Oil
Procedure :
- Wash and soak split green gram for 15-20 min.
- Wash and chop green mustard.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds to splutter.
- Add green chili and garlic, fry till it turns golden.
- Add asafoetida and turmeric.
- Add green mustard and fry well.
- Add split green gram and salt.
- Add little water.
- Close the lid and cook well.
- Serve hot with chapati.
