Ingredients :
- Raw mango pieces - 2 Cups
- Oil - 1 Tbsp
- Red Chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- Jaggery grated - 1/2 Cup
- Turmeric - 1/2 Tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/4 Tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 Tsp
- Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Procedure :
- Wash and peal raw mango.
- Make small pieces and remove seed.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds, when it start to crackle, add asafoetida and fenugreek seeds.
- When fenugreek seeds change its colour to golden-red, add raw mango pieces.
- Saute for 3-4 minutes on a low heat.
- Add turmeric, red chili powder and salt, add 2 tbsp water and cover & cook till mango is done.
- Add jaggery and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Keep in a air tight container after cooling.
