Guntapanganalu(appe)

Ingredients :

  • Rice - 1/2 Cup
  • Split Black gram -1/2 Cup
  • Bengal gram - 1/4 Cup
  • Split green gram - 1/4 Cup
  • Flattened Rice(Poha)- 1/4 cup
  • Green chili paste - 1 Tsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 Tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 Cup
  • Backing soda - 1/4 Tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure :
  1. Soak rice and all grams overnight.
  2. Grind in a mixer to prepare a smooth paste.
  3. Add green chili paste, ginger paste, coriander leaves, baking soda, salt and mix well.
  4. Add little amount of water to prepare batter.
  5. Heat appe maker, add 1/4 tsp oil in each round.
  6. Fill half part of each round by batter.
  7. Turn it after bottom side become golden brown.
  8. Cook for a while.
  9. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
Note :
  • You can prepare using Rice and split gram in a proportion 3:1
  • You can also add other grams Proportion is Rice, split black g.ram, all other grams 1:1:1.
