Ingredients :
- Broccoli - 1 Cup
- Bengal gram flour (Besan)- 1/2 Cup
- Corn Flour -1/2 Cup
- Garlic -1 Tbsp
- Ginger - 1/2 Tbsp
- Onion diced- 1/2 Cup
- Tomato sauce -1/2 Cup
- Oil
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Asefoetida - 1 Pinch
- Chili powder -1/2 Tbsp
- Salt
Procedure :
- Cut broccoli into small pieces.
- Mix Besan, corn flour, garlic-ginger paste, chili powder, turmeric, asafoetida and salt in a bowl.
- Add some water and prepare a thin batter.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Deep one broccoli piece in the bowl and fry well.
- Keep it on a paper napkin so that the excess oil will be removed.
- One by one fry all the pieces.
- Fry onion in the remaining oil till it become golden brown.
- Add tomato sauce and 2 tbsp water.
- Add the fried broccoli peices and mix well.
- Serve hot.
