Broccoli Curry

Ingredients :



  • Broccoli - 1 Cup

  • Bengal gram flour (Besan)- 1/2 Cup

  • Corn Flour -1/2 Cup

  • Garlic -1 Tbsp

  • Ginger - 1/2 Tbsp

  • Onion diced- 1/2 Cup

  • Tomato sauce -1/2 Cup

  • Oil

  • Turmeric - 1 Pinch

  • Asefoetida - 1 Pinch

  • Chili powder -1/2 Tbsp

  • Salt
Procedure :



  1. Cut broccoli into small pieces.

  2. Mix Besan, corn flour, garlic-ginger paste, chili powder, turmeric, asafoetida and salt in a bowl.

  3. Add some water and prepare a thin batter.

  4. Heat oil in a pan.

  5. Deep one broccoli piece in the bowl and fry well.

  6. Keep it on a paper napkin so that the excess oil will be removed.

  7. One by one fry all the pieces.

  8. Fry onion in the remaining oil till it become golden brown.

  9. Add tomato sauce and 2 tbsp water.

  10. Add the fried broccoli peices and mix well.

  11. Serve hot.
