Ingredients :
- Cabbage - 2 Cup
- Cornflour - 5 Tbsp
- Spring Onion or Onion- 1/4 Cup
- Carrot -1/4 cup
- Ginger - 1 Tbsp
- Garlic- 2 Tbsp
- Soya sauce -1 Tbsp
- Tomato sauce -1 Tbsp
- Chili sauce -1 Tbsp
- Green Chili -2(optional)
- Salt
- Oil
- Cut spring onion, cabbage and carrot into small lengthwise pieces.
- Cut green chili, ginger and garlic into small pieces.
- Keep 1/4 cup cabbage aside.
- Mix cabbage, 1/2 tbsp ginger, 1 tbsp garlic and salt in a bowl and keep aside for 5 min.
- Add 4 tbsp cornflower in the bowl and mix well.
- Apply some oil to your palms and prepare small round pieces without adding water as shown in the picture.
- Heat oil well in a deep frying pan.
- Deep fry these rounds till become golden brown. as shown in the picture .
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
- Add remaining ginger & garlic, green chili fry for 1 min.
- Add spring onion, cabbage and carrot fry till become golden.
- Mix one cup water and 1 tbsp cornflour in a bowl.
- Add this liquid in the pan.
- Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and chili sauce.
- Add salt as per taste.
- When it starts boiling add these rounds.
- Wait for 2 min.
- Serve Hot.
Note :
- Ajinomoto is harmful for digestive system so I am not using in the recipe but you can use it while preparing manchurian.
