Rava Uttapam



Ingredients :

  • Semolina(Rava ) - 1 Cup
  • Curd - 1/2 Cup
  • Tomato - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Green chili - 2
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure :

  1. Take semolina in a bowl, add curd and mix well.
  2. Add hot water and prepare thin batter like dosa.
  3. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  4. Cut onion,tomato and green chilli into small pieces and add it.
  5. Add salt as per taste.
  6. Heat pan, spread 1 spoon oil on the surface of pan.
  7. Pour some batter on it with a ladle and spread it to form thick circle by tilting the pan.
  8. Cover the pan for a while.
  9. Remove the lid and turn the uttapam with the help of spatula.
  10. Let it cook for a while without the lid.
  11. When it is roasted enough put it down on a plate.
  12. Repeat the procedure.
