Palak Paratha


Ingredients :
  • Spinach (palak)- 1 Cup
  • Wheat flour - 3/4 cup
  • Gram flour (besan)- 1/4 Cup
  • Garlic paste - 1 Tablespoon
  • Cumin seed powder -1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander seed powder -1 Teaspoon
  • Asafoetida -1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Chili powder or green chili paste -1 Teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds (Til)-1 Tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt
Procedure :
  1. Wash the spinach well, remove stems and finely chop.
  2. Mix all the ingredients and prepare dough with the help of water as shown.
  3. Make small bowls.
  4. Roll them into round parathas (like chapati) with a rolling pin.
  5. Put these parathas on the preheated pan and roast them by applying oil/butter on both sides.
  6. Serve with chatney or ketchup
