Hakka Noodles


Ingredients :

  • Noodles - 100 gm
  • Onion - 1/2 cup
  • Carrot - 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum -1/2 cup
  • French Beans -1/2 Cup
  • Spring Onion - 1/2 cup
  • Cabbage - 1/2 Cup
  • Ginger - 1 Teaspoon(grated)
  • Green chili -2
  • White pepper powder -1/4 Teaspoon
  • Soya sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Ajinomoto - 1 pinch (Optional)
  • Oil -4 Teaspoon.
  • Salt

Procedure :

  1. Boil water in a deep pan, add 1 tbsp oil.
  2. When it starts boiling, add noodles and cook for 4 min. without covering.
  3. Drain water and wash the noodles with cold water.
  4. Keep noodles in a strainer at least for 1 hour.
  5. Wash all vegetables and chop lengthwise.
  6. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and green chili, fry for 1 min.
  7. Add onion and fry for 1 min.
  8. Add all the vegetables, fry for 1 min and close the lid for 2 min.
  9. Add noodles and mix well.
  10. Add Soya sauce, salt, white pepper powder, Ajinomoto and mix well.
  11. Cook for 1 min.Serve hot.

Note :

  • If plane noodles are not availables you can use Ramen noodle soup pack. Don't use the seasoning package and don't follow the procedure given with it. Use the above procedure for the noodles.
