Gobi Matar


Ingredients :


  • Green Peas - 1/2 Cup

  • Cauliflower - 1/2 Cup

  • Tomato -1/2 Cup

  • Onion -1/2 Cup

  • Ginger Garlic Paste -1/2 Tbsp

  • Coriander seeds Powder -1/2 Tbsp

  • Cumin Seeds Powder -1/4 Tbsp

  • Chili Powder -1/2 Tbsp

  • Green Chili - 1

  • Garam Masala - 1/2 Tbsp

  • Yogurt - 1 Tbsp

  • Tamarind thick juice -1/2 Tbsp

  • Sugar - 1/4 Tbsp

  • Butter -1 Tbsp

  • Coriander leaves(Cilantro).

Procedure :



  1. Cook Green peas and Cauliflower separately and keep it aside.

  2. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a Pan

  3. Add Onion and fry till it becomes golden.

  4. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chili and fry.

  5. Add chopped tomato.

  6. Add coriander Powder, chili powder and garam masala and fry till oil shows on top.

  7. Cool and blend into smooth paste adding yogurt and tamarind juice.

  8. Add cooked vegetables, smooth paste and 1/2 cup water in a pan.

  9. Add salt and sugar.

  10. Cook for 5 min with lid.

  11. Garnish with Coriander leaves.

  12. Serve hot with chapati or puri.
