- Whole bengal gram(chana) - 1 Cup
- Chala masala - 1 Tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
- Green chili (finely chopped) - 2
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Onion diced - 1/2 Cup
- Tomato diced - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves
- Lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- Oil
- Salt
Procedure :
- Soak Chana overnight.
- Cook in pressure cooker without adding water.
- Heat oil in the pan.
- Add mustard seeds to splutter.
- Add green chili and fry well.
- Add asafoetida, turmeric and chana.
- Fry well.
- Add chana masala and salt.
- Cover the lid and cook for 2 min.
- Garnish with tomato, onion, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
