- Broccoli
- Gram flour(Besan) - 1/2 Cup
- Carom seeds - 1/2 Tsp
- Turmeric - 1 Pinch
- Red chili powder - 1 Pinch
- Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
- Baking soda - 1 pinch
- Lemon juice
- Garlic ginger paste
- Salt
- Oil
Procedure :
- Cut broccoli into medium size pieces.
- Apply lemon juice and salt, keep aside for 10 min.
- Prepare batter of besan.
- Add carom seeds, turmeric, red chili powder, asafoetida and baking soda.
- Apply garlic ginger paste to broccoli and keep aside for 10 min.
- Heat oil in a pan for frying.
- Add 1 tsp hot oil in the batter, mix well.
- Dip broccoli pieces into the batter and deep fry.
- Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
