Broccoli Bhaje

Ingredients:

  • Broccoli
  • Gram flour(Besan) - 1/2 Cup
  • Carom seeds - 1/2 Tsp
  • Turmeric - 1 Pinch
  • Red chili powder - 1 Pinch
  • Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
  • Baking soda - 1 pinch
  • Lemon juice
  • Garlic ginger paste
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure :

  1. Cut broccoli into medium size pieces.
  2. Apply lemon juice and salt, keep aside for 10 min.
  3. Prepare batter of besan.
  4. Add carom seeds, turmeric, red chili powder, asafoetida and baking soda.
  5. Apply garlic ginger paste to broccoli and keep aside for 10 min.
  6. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  7. Add 1 tsp hot oil in the batter, mix well.
  8. Dip broccoli pieces into the batter and deep fry.
  9. Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
