Kavath(Wood Apple) Chutney

Ingredients :
  • Kavath Pulp -1 Cup
  • Jaggery - 1 Cup
  • Red chili powder - 1 Tsp
  • Salt
  • Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil
  • Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Procedure:
  1. Grind Kavath pulp, jaggery, red chili powder and salt together.
  2. Heat 1 Tsp oil in a pan.
  3. Add mustard seeds to splutter. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and asafetida.
  4. Pour the seasoning on the mixture.
Note :
  • You can prepare oil free chutney also. Add cumin seeds while grinding the mixture.
