Palak Puri

Ingredients :

  • Spinach - 1 Bunch
  • Ginger - 1/2 Inch
  • Green chili - 2-3
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Turmeric - 1 Pinch
  • Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
  • Bengal gram floor - 2 Tbsp
  • Rice floor - 1 Tsp
  • Wheat floor - 2-3 Cups
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure :

  1. Boil spinach, drain water.
  2. In a blender grind spinach, green chili and ginger to prepare smooth paste.
  3. In a bowl, add spinach paste, coriander powder, turmeric, asafoetida, Bengal gram floor, rice floor and salt.
  4. Now slowly add wheat floor to prepare dough.
  5. Heat oil for frying.
  6. Prepare small rounds using rolling pin.
  7. Deep fry in oil.
  8. Serve hot with Chutney.
